Each 90-minute feature film episode of the WWOM matches one of the
world's foremost "auteur" film directors talents with world-class
musicians. Together these artistic talents explore the music and culture
of a particular region of the world. The structure of each film reflects
the interplay between the vision of the director, the musical insight
of the artists and the reality of the country where the film takes
place. While each is distinctive in style and focus, the films are
part interview, part performance, part travelogue and part journal,
and all present a distinct and compelling human story.
