The WWOM is more than a series of movies; it is a platform to promote
intercultural understanding. Within this global humanitarian mission,
the WWOM is particularly dedicated to broadening the world views of
the next-generation; a large component of the program includes outreach
to students and young people around the globe.
The specific outreach programs will vary according to the circumstance
and location of each film. However, the goal of all will be to offer
young people the opportunity to learn about and share the music
and culture of a particular region of the world. Furthermore, the
programs’ multimedia approach will help participants from
around the world share their personal narratives on broad and far-reaching
platforms.
